Vice President of Product

Summary Job Description:

  

The role is responsible for continuous evolution of the Core Financial Software product strategy and vision through customer interaction and market analysis. Management and oversight of the development team to architect, develop, test and deliver the products to the customers. Responsible for the product road-map, which will encompass the needs of the customers, identified market opportunities and drive innovation and adoption in the marketplace. 

Required to interface with clients to understand their product specific needs, develop product direction from clients and market sector opportunities. Participate in the senior management team of Core Financial Software to constantly refine the strategic direction of the company.

Responsible for operational management of the products in the context of the overall business goals of the company.

Responsibilities

  

Leadership & Management

  • Provide senior-level leadership for the development and product management teams.
  • Establish clear organizational structure, responsibilities, and career development paths for team members.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and retention of top technical and product talent.

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Develop the product modernization strategy and integration with modern tech stacks.
  • Translate business strategy and customer needs into a multi-year product roadmap, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term innovation.
  • Ensure products remain competitive and differentiated.
  • Work closely with clients to validate and prioritize enhancements.

Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Executive Team: Partner with the CEO and executive peers in defining company vision, long-term growth strategies, and product partnership opportunities.
  • Sales & Account Management: Support sales pursuits by providing thought leadership, product visioning, and direct engagement with key clients/prospects.
  • Finance:  Lead budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis for product initiatives and development operations.

Experience

  

  • 10+ years  of progressive experience in software product management, product strategy, or technology leadership, with at least 5 years in an executive  or director capacity overseeing cross-functional product and engineering teams.
  • Proven track record leading financial technology products, ideally within the credit union, banking, or financial services software sector.
  • Demonstrated success in building and executing multi-year product strategies and modernization roadmaps, balancing innovation, scalability, and regulatory  compliance.
  • Understanding and practical experience in API ecosystems and modern software delivery frameworks.
  • Strong experience in market analysis, competitive positioning, and translating customer insights into actionable product direction that drives measurable business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to manage P&L for product lines, lead strategic investments, and deliver ROI-based decision-making for product portfolios.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience building high-performing teams, fostering innovation, and aligning technical roadmaps with corporate strategy.
  • History of executive-level client engagement, including presenting product vision, negotiating partnerships, and influencing enterprise adoption.

Customer Account Manager

Summary Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Account Manager who will guide our customers through every stage of their journey and customer life cycle.  As a key liaison between our organization and our clients, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful onboarding, driving adoption, and fostering lasting relationships.


This is a full-time remote (USA based) role responsible for maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction, managing customer accounts and driving revenue growth and retention. Day-to-day tasks include interacting with clients to understand their needs and goals, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with various teams to ensure seamless customer experiences. Success in this role will be measured not only by client satisfaction and retention but also by the ability to close customer opportunities and achieve overall sales targets.

Experience

  • Strong Customer Satisfaction and Customer Support skills
  • Account Management and Communication skills
  • Analytical Skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the financial software industry is essential and ideally with Servicing      Director and/or EZ Teller
  • Proven success in software sales is essential
  • Ability to develop strategic account plans and execute them effectively
